Behind the Scenes | Cooper Young Festival

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to have our own booth at the Cooper Young Festival in Memphis. It was our first festival + it was such an adventure (in the best way).

After getting two hours of sleep, we woke up at 4:30 in the morning to get prepared for the day with coffee, doughnuts + wine (for later, guys. Calm down.)

After some speed bumps with set up- AKA we all three wrestled to set up our tent only to find out that we had set up in THE WRONG SPOT + had to break down everything + move it to the correct location- we got everything set up just right + it was without a doubt the pinkest booth on the block.

In all honesty, we are going to be living on the high of this event for a long time (possibly for the rest of our lives). There were more than 15,000 people at Cooper Young this year + it honestly felt like every single one of them stopped by our booth at some point during the day. It was such a cool experience to get to meet + talk with you. Your smiles + excitement were contagious. Words can't even begin to describe how much your excitement about us + our work means to us.

All day, we heard so many stories and got so many hugs. From the girl who cried while reading some of our prints, only to find out it was because she was recently dumped, to the man (named Cassius. Hello, coolest name ever) who made us cocktails + was the best salesperson we've ever met. There was also a little pair of friends who bought each other cards + cried over their meaning together. We had a lot of hugging + crying in our booth + it was pure magic.
Thank you. Thank you for making this event so memorable + bright.
